Blood Moon!

Blood Moon on the Horizon

A Blood moon known as a ‘tetrad’ will take place on September 28th, which is just the fourth lunar eclipse in two years.
The rare event will make the moon look up to 14% larger because it is as close to the earth than it will ever be in its elliptical orbit. However there is a chance that the eclipse won’t be visible from New Zealand and as always viewing always depends on weather conditions.

However this light has already traveled through the Earth's atmosphere first, and hence causing the totally eclipsed moon to look red or brownish.

Rugby World Cup

Lately we have been working on the Rugby world cup for inquiry. Our teacher put us into small groups and together we all had to make a google presentation about the Rugby world cup. I was with Akanesi, Maranatha, Aydrian and Heilala. Together we all made a very good presentation, we ended up getting principals award for our work. This is one of the slides that I've done and completed.

Pt England School (Cindy In The House Play)

On Monday we walked to Pt England school to watch there play Cindy In The House. Some kids from our school got to watch. There were two other schools, Glen Brae and Te Kura Kaupapa. The play was musical, funny and had lots of dancing in it. My favorite part was when the boys done the Harlem shake in the gym. Overall It was fun at Pt England and I think their play was awesome!
